Who sells the ticket
TaleAlley is a service provided by SkriptAtelier UG (haftungsbeschränkt). Tickets are bought from Paddle as the seller and merchant of record. Paddle processes the payment, issues the purchase confirmation and invoice and is the contact for statutory rights under the purchase contract. The checkout states which Paddle company is the contractual partner in each case. For Germany, under Paddle's current terms, this is Paddle.com Market Limited, 30 Old Bailey, London EC4M 7AU, United Kingdom.
The Paddle buyer terms provided in the checkout and the statutory consumer rights apply:
Buyer terms: https://www.paddle.com/legal/buyer-terms
Refund and withdrawal information: https://www.paddle.com/legal/refund-policy
Paddle buyer support: https://paddle.net
Statutory right of withdrawal
Consumers may have a statutory right of withdrawal when buying online. For digital products, this right may expire early under special statutory conditions, for example if the buyer expressly agrees that provision begins before the withdrawal period ends, confirms the loss of the right of withdrawal and receives the confirmation of the contract required by law. Which rule applies to a specific ticket purchase depends on the correct legal classification of the service and on the information and declarations effectively given in the Paddle checkout.
A statutory withdrawal is declared to Paddle, for example through Paddle buyer support. Our voluntary cancellation rule does not restrict statutory rights.
Our additional voluntary 30-day cancellation
Independently of statutory rights, you can cancel individual tickets or all tickets free of charge within 30 calendar days of your purchase, as long as the ticket concerned has not been used. It is enough for your cancellation request to reach us within this period.
A ticket counts as used as soon as a device takes part with it in an adventure that has actually been started. The adventure starts with the explicit start from the lobby by an authorised adult after the introduction, safety information, briefing and the required readiness confirmations. Downloading the app, entering the event code, joining the lobby or going through the introduction does not count as use. For example, if four of six tickets took part in the started adventure, you can cancel the two unused tickets. If a device already occupies a place in the lobby before the start, it has to leave the lobby first. If teen tickets remain, at least one adult ticket has to remain.
The easiest way to cancel is the form on this page. To confirm, we send you a link to the email address you used for the purchase. You can also write to and tell us the Paddle order number or your event code and the number of tickets. We refund the full price of every cancelled ticket through Paddle to the original payment method. We bear the fees of our payment provider. The cancelled places are deactivated and your remaining tickets stay valid.
For used tickets and after the 30 days have passed, there is no entitlement under this additional voluntary cancellation rule. Any statutory right of withdrawal and rights relating to failure to provide the service, defects or other statutory grounds remain unaffected.
When you can play
A purchased ticket has no fixed redemption deadline. You decide on which day you start the story. A ticket applies to the chosen story and generally to one device of your own. Every team needs at least one adult participant. In suitable family adventures, children under 13 can play along on an accompanying adult's device without a ticket of their own. Availability, age requirements and required device functions are set out for each story and in the terms of use and participation.
