Real places and independence
TaleAlley is an independent service. Naming or depicting cities, buildings, monuments, sights, facilities or other real places does not mean cooperation, recommendation or support by the owners, operators, cities or institutions concerned. An official cooperation exists only where we expressly name it. We use place names to identify settings and game stations.
Illustrations of real places
Our depictions of places, buildings and monuments are artistic interpretations. For design reasons, they may be simplified, stylised or abstracted and need not match the actual appearance in every detail. Construction work, closures, events, renovations and other changes may also mean that a depiction does not reflect the current state. The actual situation on site is what counts.
Accessibility and orientation
Showing a place in a TaleAlley adventure does not mean that all areas of that place may be entered or are accessible at all times. Opening hours, house rules, traffic rules, signs, barriers and access restrictions must be observed. Closed or unsafe access must not be forced. Use the help or alternatives provided.
Maps, GPS, distance information and suggested routes are for orientation only and may be inaccurate or temporarily unavailable. They do not guarantee actual safety or accessibility. Where external map data is used, we observe the required terms of use and attribution notices.
Fictional stories and historical information
Unless expressly marked otherwise, the plot, characters, dialogues and events of TaleAlley stories are fictional. Including real places does not mean that the events told took place there or that real people or institutions were involved in them.
Additional information about history, culture, architecture and real places is editorially prepared and may be summarised for clarity. Fictional story elements are not to be understood as historical statements of fact.
AI & creativity
A lot of time, passion and attention to detail goes into every TaleAlley adventure. We develop our stories with the aim of creating exciting, well thought out and unique experiences. From the first idea through the plot and its characters to the puzzles, clues and surprising twists, we carefully design and develop every adventure ourselves.
In doing so, we combine human creativity with modern technology. Artificial intelligence supports us as a tool in designing our illustrations, writing texts and the technical development of our app and website.
Our stories and puzzles are not simply created at the push of a button. Every mission should make sense, every clue should fit the story and every puzzle should add to the shared experience. We review, question and refine our ideas and content until they come together into a coherent adventure.
For us, AI is a tool, not a substitute for our own ideas, creativity and responsibility. We decide which content becomes part of TaleAlley and we shape it ourselves.
Copyright and rights of use
The stories, missions, puzzles, texts, graphics, illustrations, audio and video content and other design elements offered in TaleAlley are protected by copyright or other rights, insofar as such rights exist. Use as intended within the booked adventure is permitted. Any further reproduction, adaptation, commercial exploitation or public distribution requires an appropriate legal basis or separate permission. Third-party rights, in particular to names, trademarks, photos or buildings, remain unaffected.
