About us
TaleAlley is our labor of love. We're from Kassel and have poured all our know-how and skill into one idea: adventures you experience outdoors, at real places in our city.
Our story
A game among friends turned into an idea that just wouldn't let us go.
The beginning
We played a scavenger hunt with friends and loved it right away. Puzzling things out, searching and making progress together had us hooked.
The first try
Then we built one ourselves for a company event, tailored to that company. Everyone jumped right into the puzzles, and real team spirit grew because every person had something to contribute.
The idea
The idea stayed with us: an app of our own that lets everyone experience an adventure like this. On your own, as a pair, with friends and family, for a birthday, at a bachelor or bachelorette party or as a company event.
Today
We believe in this idea and made it happen. TaleAlley holds all our know-how and skill, and a whole lot of heart and soul.

Who we are
Together we founded SkriptAtelier, our web design agency. SkriptAtelier is also the company behind TaleAlley. We share a passion for code and design, plus years of experience in online marketing, programming and visual design.
Media, communication and design
I discovered my passion for media, communication and design early on. I deepened my knowledge with a Master's in Media Studies and developed my skills further in practice at an agency.
Aesthetics are with me in every part of life, whether I'm taking photos or designing. To me, design is an expression of creativity and precision.
Development and code
My roots are in media design, but my real passion is development. After stints at several agencies, today I'm a developer through and through.
I love coding and work with modern tools and frameworks. My goal is polished technology that delivers a compelling experience.
The idea
TaleAlley is part city scavenger hunt, part puzzle adventure. You follow a story from place to place, solve challenges together and discover Kassel all over again.
Because some stories you have to experience yourself. Real places become part of the story, and you're right in the middle of it.
Because we've seen it ourselves: when every person can contribute something, real team spirit grows. That's why, when you play as a team, each person gets their own role with their own tools.
Because we're from here. Our five adventures are set at well-known and hidden places around the city.
Because that way everyone can play whenever they like, and nobody has to hide clues beforehand. Plus, an app can do what paper can't. Over the walkie-talkie, for example, a character from the story answers you live.
What matters to us
Six principles are our compass. You'll find them in every story, from the first place to the finale.
Every place is in the story for a reason. The adventure goes on right where the story takes place.
No checking off stops on a list. Clues and twists keep the story open until the finale.
Everyone should be able to contribute. Each role has its own tools and evidence, and only together do you see the whole picture.
It's the fine nuances that make the difference, in the puzzles just as much as in the design.
We use new technology where it makes the experience better. Over the walkie-talkie, for example, a character answers you, voiced by an AI.
